Casablancaesque Red & Black Wedding: Megan + Michael

On the heels of Valentine’s Day, I want to share the details of this romantic wedding with you. Glamourous touches of old Hollywood really brought the union of Megan and Michael alive. Damask, lace, feathers, lush florals, black and white photographs, and the color red contributed to the classic glamour of their wedding day. It. Was. Beautiful!

Lucky me, I had the pleasure of watching it all come together in the hours before the ceremony. Some of my favorite details were those that were incorporated by the bride and groom to honor their families. The bride crafted picture frame luminaries that contained black and white family photos from years past (similar to these) to use as part of the table centerpieces. She even went so far as to coordinate the photos to the guests that were assigned to each table… so personal and fabulous! The event was a harmonious marriage of not only the bride and groom, but also of talented vendors and personal DIY projects… the perfect combo for a stunning result.

  4. Oh I love the red, white and black. I had red accents at my wedding too but they were not done as well as this! I got married WAY before pinterest and now I think, oh, I would have done so many things differently. Damn Pinterest. :)

  5. So lovely! Oh, how sad it is that I got married before blogs and pinterest! I wish we had a designer as talented as you!
